Kilimanjaro Cancellation & Refund Policy

You reserve the right to cancel your booked/confirmed trip with Kilimanjaro Group Climb Adventures anytime for any reason. However, there is a Cancellation and Refund policy applied by Kilimanjaro Group Climb Adventures.

Below here is the cancellation and refund policy in the form of a question and answer for a clear understanding to all our clients, showing the policy definition based on when a climb/trek is cancelled.

What happens if I need to cancel my booked Climb/Trek on Mount Kilimanjaro?

Upon receipt of written cancellation through eMail or WhatsApp or Text Message by any member of the booked Kilimanjaro climb/trek indicated on the reservation at least 3 days prior to departure, 0% of the reservation of the canceling party will be retained by Kilimanjaro Group Climb Adventures, and this means the full paid amount of the package price will be refunded immediately.

If a cancellation is received less than 3 days prior to departure, 20% of the package price will be retained by Kilimanjaro Group Climb Adventures and the balance of the package price will be refunded immediately.

Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no less than 12 hours prior to departure and the replacement confirms through eMail or WhatsApp or Text Message individually, no retention of funds will take place.

We highly recommend personal travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees.

Do you cancel a trip, or charge more when other people in my group cancel?

Our trips are never canceled by Kilimanjaro Group Climb Adventures, but you may have to pay more if your group falls below a certain group size.
